Hi!! Hope you are having a nice week!
Well, for me is a Life Management Binder.
I still live with my parents (planning and dreaming about the wedding :-) "finger crossed"), so a Home Management Binder for a home that is not mine to manage...is difficult to do. That's why I made a binder to manage the things that are under my control: my bills, my pets, my documents, etc. :-)
I have a "slightly" addiction to Pinterest and that's where I found the inspiration to do my binder (Click here to see my Inspiration Board for this project). I had a little filing system that was not working for me. I thought that maybe a binder where I could have everything in the same place and that I could change if I need it was a good idea. And that's how my second project was born. (The first one being My 2013 Planner).
First I picked from my binders the one that I thought was more efficient for this task. I choose a 2'' Green Five Star Zipper Binder. I used my planner cover for this project too, because I fell in love with it. I had a green pouch for my pencils, pens, tape eraser, etc. lying in a drawer waiting just to be used!

I used the Avery Insertable Dividers with pockets to hold documents.

And wrote the categories I use:
1. Important Documents (Birth Certificate, Diploma, or any document that I might need or considered important)
2. To Do (Birthdays Register, Christmas Card Addresses Register, Car Maintenance Log, Pet information and Vaccines, and Warranties, which I keep in chronological order.. In the pockets I keep cards to send to my friends or family.)

3. Finance & More ( In here I have a Monthly Calendar where I register my bills and when I want to do the payments, after I pay the bills, I put them behind the current month. Also, in here I keep my credit cards documents) **I love how cute and colorful the calendars are!!**
4. Treasury Department ( In here is where I save everything for my taxes)
5. Ideas: Just paper where I can write or just save documents that I might use someday. I clean this tab weekly. Also, I have here some business cards sleeves to put those cards that I've got and dont want to throw away.
This binder is really functional for me, it keeps the paper away and I don't have to file another document, when the year is over I will throw out what has to be thrown out and keep what has to be kept. When I move and start my own family I will modify this one for my new needs!
Here are some post on Home Management Binders that are really cool and have great tips about doing this amazing organizational tool!

DeleteGreat binder! I can tell you put effort into it to get it to the point that it is totally usable for you. That's what makes a binder great, that it works for the individual. Love it!
